Niall Horan Announces One-off Live Streamed Show to Raise Money for Crew

The One Director Star is hosting a one-off performance on 7 November, alongside his full (socially distanced) band, to raise money for the #WeNeedCrew relief fund. All profits from the show will be split between the fund and the singer’s touring crew.

Held at the Royal Albert Hall, no audience will be permitted into the venue, and the concert will not be available on-demand after it has taken place. Niall hopes to sell between 60,000 and 70,000 tickets.

Speaking on the performance, he said: “I know that live events are something we all miss, and until we are able to return I want to highlight the incredible people who work in touring that make those events possible and whose livelihoods have been severely affected.

“I’m putting on this gig to try and raise awareness of the immense value they bring to an industry enjoyed by so many and do something to help them and their families.

“I ask all my fans to support them with me and buy a ticket if you can, and I encourage all artists to do the same.”

Tickets for the star’s Royal Albert Hall show go on sale at 9:00am this Friday, 16 October. It will mark the first time he’s played many of the songs from his recent album, Heartbreak Weather, live.
