Steakhouse restaurant Hawksmoor has launched its very own Hawksmoor at Home box, full of indulgent treats for those who aren’t quite ready to dine out yet. They are offering delivery across the whole of the UK.
The move comes as a recent poll by Hot Dinners saw Hawskmoor come out top on a list of places Londoners wanted to dine at once restaurants reopened. With six London sites, plus restaurants in Manchester and Edinburgh, the company launched its Hawksmoor at Home service ‘so people can enjoy what we do in their own homes irrespective of where they live in the UK or how soon they want to come back to restaurants.’
Serving two and priced at £120, each dine at home kit contains a 35-day dry-aged porterhouse steak, bone marrow and madeira jus (for the steak sauce), tenderstem broccoli with gentleman’s relish, Maldon sea salt, and Koffman potatoes with beef dripping for those authentic Hawksmoor roasties or chunky chips.
There’s no need to worry about drinks, either, as each package includes a Hawksmoor lager, a bottle of red and a pre-made Hawksmoor Ultimate Dry Martini. Rather than the usual instruction sheet, the beloved steakhouse group is even sending a complete cookery book with every order.
