The Blues Kitchen Reveals Manchester Site

Food inspired by the Deep South as well as an enviable collection of rare bourbons.

The London-based barbecue and live music venue has announced it is to open its first regional site in Manchester.

The Blues Kitchen promised to bring a taste of the South to the old Walkabout site on Quay Street in early 2021. Just like in the London restaurant, patrons can expect food and drinks inspired by the Deep South as well as an enviable collection of rare bourbons.

The venue will enjoy live music seven nights a week, with musicians and DJs playing soul, funk, rock ‘n’ roll and roots music until late. Speaking on the move up north, Founder, Steve Ball said: “When we decided to spread our wings it had to be Manchester, it’s such a cool city. It’s the only other city we’d consider doing anything in.”

The exciting new venue is expected to create 100 new hospitality jobs and shine a light on local music talent.
